Job Title: Senior HVAC Project Manager
Location: Los Angeles, CA

Job Summary
We seek an experienced and highly skilled Senior HVAC Project Manager to lead large-scale, complex commercial HVAC projects in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing mechanical systems and HVAC design/build projects and will be proficient in overseeing project management, from pre-construction to closeout. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker capable of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while mentoring and guiding a team of project engineers and managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage large commercial HVAC projects, overseeing the full project lifecycle from design to completion.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work, ensuring all project milestones are met.
  • Provide strategic direction and technical expertise during the planning, design, and execution phases of HVAC projects.
  • Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and other project management tools to track progress, manage documentation, and report status.
  • Review and approve submittals, change orders, RFIs, and other project-related documents.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure work is performed according to specifications.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide frequent updates on project status, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience managing commercial HVAC projects, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical design, controls, and building codes.
  • Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven to work effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to think critically and solve complex project challenges.
  • Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
  • Local to Los Angeles, CA, or willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience managing projects in specialized healthcare, data centers, or education sectors.
  • Strong background in mechanical contracting or design-build environments.
