Job Title: Senior HVAC Project Manager

Job Summary
We seek an experienced and highly skilled Senior HVAC Project Manager to lead large-scale, complex commercial HVAC projects in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing mechanical systems and HVAC design/build projects and will be proficient in overseeing project management, from pre-construction to closeout. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker capable of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while mentoring and guiding a team of project engineers and managers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage large commercial HVAC projects, overseeing the full project lifecycle from design to completion.
Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work, ensuring all project milestones are met.
Provide strategic direction and technical expertise during the planning, design, and execution phases of HVAC projects.
Utilize Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and other project management tools to track progress, manage documentation, and report status.
Review and approve submittals, change orders, RFIs, and other project-related documents.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure work is performed according to specifications.
Maintain strong client relationships and provide frequent updates on project status, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience managing commercial HVAC projects, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical design, controls, and building codes.
Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proven to work effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
Ability to think critically and solve complex project challenges.
Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
Local to Los Angeles, CA, or willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications
PMP or similar project management certification.
Experience managing projects in specialized healthcare, data centers, or education sectors.
Strong background in mechanical contracting or design-build environments.
