Job Title: BAS/Controls Programmer
Location: Los Angeles, CA

Job Summary
We seek an experienced BAS/Controls Programmer with a strong background in building automation systems to join our Los Angeles, CA team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience programming Tridium controls and be proficient with Niagara and Distech platforms. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient control strategies for various commercial projects, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize control strategies for building automation systems using Tridium, Niagara, and Distech platforms.
  • Integrate building systems and devices to ensure smooth communication and functionality across all systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in control programming to maintain system efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with project teams to meet project specifications and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Maintain organized and detailed documentation of programming activities, including code and system configurations.
  • Ensure all programming activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conducted system testing and commissioning to ensure system functionality and performance met expectations.
  • Engage with clients to gather technical requirements, provide ongoing support, and effectively address concerns.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience in BAS controls programming.
  • Proficiency with Tridium, Niagara, and Distech building automation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of control programming principles and experience with commercial building system integration.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and clients.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of additional building automation platforms and protocols is a plus.
  • Experience with system security and data analytics is a bonus.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, lighting, and other building systems.
