Summary

We seek a Senior HVAC Project Manager in Riverside, CA, who excels in project estimation, scheduling, customer relations, and team management. This role demands a local candidate with a stable work history and significant experience in the commercial mechanical construction sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of commercial HVAC projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing their expectations and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate project costs and timelines accurately, develop detailed schedules, and coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Supervise and mentor project engineers, assistant project managers, and other team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
  • Utilize your deep knowledge of HVAC systems, including sheet metal and duct work installation, to oversee technical aspects of the projects and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
  • Must be a local candidate with a proven stable work history in the commercial mechanical construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent hands-on field experience in commercial building sheet metal and duct work installation will also be considered.
  • Extensive experience managing commercial HVAC projects, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems and building automation systems (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, Bacnet, Trane, Schneider Electric).
  • Proficiency in project management and estimation software such as Bluebeam, MS Project, Trimble AutoBid, and Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
