Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, and VRF systems.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and provide practical solutions to minimize downtime.
Communicate with clients and team members to ensure service needs are met efficiently and professionally.
Accurately document work performed, including service reports, recommendations, and parts used.
Stay current on industry advancements, safety regulations, and best practices.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair.
EPA Universal Certification (Type I, II, and III).
Strong knowledge of electrical and refrigeration diagnostics.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Nice-to-Haves
NATE Certification or equivalent industry-recognized credential.
Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and controls.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior technicians.
Location & Work Environment
This role is based in Los Angeles, CA, serving clients across the surrounding area. The position involves working on-site at commercial buildings, including office spaces, hospitals, retail centers, and industrial facilities. Work may require occasional after-hours or weekend availability for emergency service calls.
