Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the commercial HVAC service department, ensuring timely and high-quality service.
Supervise, train, and mentor service technicians, dispatchers, and support staff.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Schedule, assign, and prioritize service calls to optimize efficiency and customer responsiveness.
Monitor budgets, expenses, and profitability while driving growth and operational improvements.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
In-depth knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-effective solutions.
Proficiency in service management software and scheduling tools.
Nice-to-Haves
HVAC industry certifications (EPA, NATE, etc.).
Experience with business development and sales within the HVAC service industry.
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in California.
Location & Work Environment
This position is based in Riverside, CA, serving commercial clients across the region. Work will involve office-based management and occasional on-site visits to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
