Job Summary
We seek a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Orange, CA. This role requires a keen understanding of accounting principles and a solid foundation in public accounting and manufacturing environments. This position offers a remarkable opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, including the COO, President, Controller, and CFO, providing significant exposure and learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Prepare accurate monthly journal entries and financial statements.
To analyze financial data and enhance reporting accuracy, utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros.
Work directly with the company's COO, President, Controller, and CFO to develop financial strategies and drive business decisions.
Apply accounting knowledge to the manufacturing sector, overseeing financial processes to ensure fiscal health and cost efficiency.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations and standards to ensure all financial operations comply with statutory and corporate policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
At least two years of public accounting experience, preferably with the Big Four. Candidates with experience in smaller accounting firms will also be considered.
Minimum of one year of experience in the manufacturing sector and two to three years in auditing roles.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros.
Strong understanding of debits and credits and proficiency in managing monthly journal entries.
Local and stable work history within the accounting field.
