Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist the Project Manager in overseeing the planning and execution of plumbing and HVAC projects for commercial infrastructures.
  2. Engage with contractors, vendors, and other team members to facilitate the smooth operation and completion of projects.
  3. Help interpret and analyze project blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
  4. Coordinate with the engineering team to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.
  5. Support the Project Manager in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  6. Ensure local, state, and industry-specific codes, regulations, and standards are adhered to.
  7. Participate in regular project meetings, providing updates and addressing potential issues.
  8. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights and feedback from on-ground project experiences.
  9. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Must be locally based in Orange, CA.
  • Demonstrated stable work history.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
  • Possess valid licenses in Plumbing, HVAC, Engineer-in-Training (EIT), or Professional Engineer (PE).
  • Recognized industry certifications such as LEED AP or CPD will be a strong advantage.
  • Solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Practical communication skills, capable of working in collaborative environments and interfacing with multiple stakeholders.
