Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Commercial Plumbing/HVAC Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, NC. The ideal candidate will be local with a stable work history and possess a BSME or BS in Construction Management, along with 2+ years of experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC design, estimating, and project management. Familiarity with tools such as BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore is essential, and previous experience with large commercial projects is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers in the planning, design, and execution of commercial plumbing and HVAC projects.
- Assist in the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Participate in the coordination of project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Work closely with the design and engineering teams to review and contribute to project specifications.
- Utilize BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore for document management and project tracking.
- Assist in the preparation of project estimates, proposals, and change orders.
- Support project managers in managing client communications and expectations.
- Contribute to the resolution of project-related issues and challenges.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- BSME or BS in Construction Management is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC design, estimating, and project management.
- Familiarity with construction management tools, including BlueBeam, MS Project, and Procore.
- Previous experience with large commercial projects is preferred.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
