Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating all HVAC and plumbing construction project activities.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and other project team members to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
  • Review and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings, ensuring they align with company standards and client expectations.
  • Coordinate and oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects remain on track and within the defined scope.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and cost estimates.
  • Handle client communications without the Project Manager, ensuring client needs are addressed promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor field work, ensuring it aligns with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Manage and resolve potential issues, conflicts, or discrepancies during the project lifecycle.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, certifications, and best practices to ensure projects adhere to current standards.

Qualifications:

  • Residency in or near Orange, CA, complemented by a stable and commendable professional history.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Plumbing, HVAC, EIT, or PE Licenses.
  • Certifications such as LEED AP or CPD.
  • At least five years of experience in construction, mechanical contracting, project engineering, estimating, or engineering HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
