We seek a Plumbing Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our growing success.

Location: San Jose, CA - Local candidates are strongly preferred, or candidates should be willing to relocate to the San Jose area permanently.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or Bachelor's in Construction Management from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in commercial plumbing project management.
  • Experience with specialized projects, including but not limited to hospitals, schools, airports, and data centers.
  • A stable work history indicating reliability and professional growth.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Bluebeam and MS Project.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in overseeing commercial plumbing projects from initiation through completion.
  • Participate in preconstruction activities, including estimating, scheduling, and planning.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain and update project schedules using software tools like MS Project.
  • Review and analyze construction documents using Bluebeam, ensuring they comply with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Assist in procurement by vetting suppliers and subcontractors and help manage ordering materials and equipment.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables, informing the Project Manager of any deviations or issues.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
