Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Efficiently diagnose and troubleshoot PLC systems and associated components to detect and resolve issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Programming and Configuration: Develop and modify PLC programs to enhance system performance. Implement new configurations and setups as part of system upgrades and installations.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance to ensure long-term reliability and efficiency of PLC systems.
  • Technical Support and Consultation: Provide expert advice and technical support to clients, enhancing their understanding of system operations and promoting optimal use of automation technology.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system layouts, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting guides to support system integrity and knowledge sharing.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all industry standards and safety regulations during installation, servicing, and repair of PLC systems.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field; or equivalent vocational training.
  • Certifications: Certified PLC Technician credentials preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of PLC hardware and software, especially popular brands like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Mitsubishi.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex systems in a clear and understandable manner.
