Job Title: Niagara Assistant Project Manager
Location: San Jose, CA

Job Overview
We seek a detail-oriented and driven Niagara Assistant Project Manager to support the successful execution of cutting-edge building automation and control projects within the commercial mechanical construction sector. Based in San Jose, CA, this role supports project management tasks related to Tridium Niagara systems, ensuring seamless integration with HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning, designing, and implementing building automation and control systems, with a strong emphasis on Tridium Niagara and other BACnet compatible platforms.
  • Support the creation of submittals, system schematics, and CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam. Ensure documentation aligns with client specifications and project requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, clear communication, and client satisfaction.
  • Assist in overseeing control system installation, integration, and commissioning. Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure all components operate within specified parameters.
  • Monitor project schedules, track key milestones, and update the Project Manager regularly.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in building automation systems or mechanical construction, with exposure to project coordination and control integration.
  • Technical proficiency in Tridium Niagara and familiarity with BACnet, DDC controls, and related systems such as Distech, Alerton, or Johnson Controls Metasys.
  • Experience with drafting and system layout tools like AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Revit.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A stable and local work history demonstrating reliability and long-term commitment to project success.
