Job Title: MEP Project Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Project Manager for our operations in New York City. The ideal candidate will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term projects with a beginning, an end, and specified deliverables, focusing on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in large commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement MEP projects, including defining scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop full-scale project plans involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and cost using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using the right tools and methods.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Must be local to New York City with a stable work history.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in MEP-related fields, particularly HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing.
- Demonstrated experience in project management of large commercial projects.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Prolog) and estimating software (e.g., Trimble AutoBid, Bluebeam).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
