Responsibilities
Estimating and Sales: Develop accurate cost estimates for HVAC systems in commercial settings. Utilize on-screen takeoff software to improve efficiency and accuracy in bids.
Value Engineering: Apply value engineering methodologies to optimize project costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
Project Planning: Assist in the preconstruction phase by planning and coordinating activities to ensure project readiness and alignment with client expectations.
Software Proficiency: Use CAD and Revit for designing and detailing, although mastery of these tools is not mandatory.
Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients, engineers, and construction teams to ensure a cohesive approach to all preconstruction activities.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in large commercial mechanical projects, with a specific focus on HVAC systems.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Skills: Strong expertise in estimating, value engineering, and use of on-screen takeoff software. Knowledge of CAD and Revit preferred.
