Overview:
We are actively seeking an experienced Mechanical BIM Director to spearhead our BIM initiatives within the mechanical engineering sector. This strategic role requires an exceptional understanding of mechanical systems and a seasoned hand in directing BIM processes and technologies across sophisticated projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic implementation and optimization of BIM technologies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Champion the integration of BIM processes across project teams to ensure seamless collaboration and efficiency.
- Develop comprehensive standards for BIM usage, ensuring consistency and quality across all operations.
- Oversee the training and development of project teams in the use of BIM software and methodologies.
- Evaluate and integrate cutting-edge technologies, such as virtual reality and drone surveillance, to advance project precision and team capabilities.
- Manage the BIM department, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Over 12 years of direct experience in BIM management, particularly in mechanical systems within the construction industry.
- Expert proficiency in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
- Proven track record of enhancing project delivery through innovative BIM implementations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong focus on team development and operational excellence.
