Key Responsibilities
Develop precise 3D plumbing designs using the Autodesk Fabrication Suite, Revit, and other advanced software to convey design intent for active and upcoming commercial projects.
Interpret construction documents, cut sheets, and drawings to support project managers and field superintendents, ensuring clarity in design execution.
Conduct regular site visits to coordinate designs and ensure alignment with field installations.
Collaborate closely with project managers and installation teams to create detailed, technically sound layouts and coordination plans.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of national, state, and city plumbing and building codes, including ASPE standards, ensuring designs meet regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on installation experience with medium to large commercial plumbing systems.
4+ years of plumbing detailing experience, with proven expertise in complex commercial projects.
Proficient in Revit, Autodesk Fabrication Suite, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and other industry-standard detailing software.
Comprehensive understanding of ASPE standards and building/plumbing codes at national, state, and local levels.
Demonstrated local and stable work history, reflecting reliability and a commitment to the industry.
