Key Responsibilities
- Develop precise 3D plumbing designs using the Autodesk Fabrication Suite, Revit, and other advanced software to convey design intent for active and upcoming commercial projects.
- Interpret construction documents, cut sheets, and drawings to support project managers and field superintendents, ensuring clarity in design execution.
- Conduct regular site visits to coordinate designs and ensure alignment with field installations.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and installation teams to create detailed, technically sound layouts and coordination plans.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of national, state, and city plumbing and building codes, including ASPE standards, ensuring designs meet regulatory requirements.
- 8+ years of hands-on installation experience with medium to large commercial plumbing systems.
- 4+ years of plumbing detailing experience, with proven expertise in complex commercial projects.
- Proficient in Revit, Autodesk Fabrication Suite, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and other industry-standard detailing software.
- Comprehensive understanding of ASPE standards and building/plumbing codes at national, state, and local levels.
- Demonstrated local and stable work history, reflecting reliability and a commitment to the industry.
