Job Title: Commercial HVAC Superintendent

Location: Riverside, CA

Overview: We are currently seeking a seasoned Commercial HVAC Superintendent for our rapidly growing business in Riverside, CA. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional to lead our commercial HVAC team in providing top-notch installation, maintenance, and repair services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervising and coordinating activities of HVAC workers on various commercial projects.
  2. Ensuring all installation, maintenance, and repair jobs are completed within budget and time frame.
  3. Overseeing all aspects of the project from initial planning to completion, including cost estimation, scheduling, and coordination with other trades.
  4. Training and mentoring HVAC team members to improve skills and productivity.
  5. Maintaining a strong working relationship with clients, contractors, architects, and other key stakeholders.
  6. Implementing safety procedures and ensuring that all worksites are compliant with safety regulations.
  7. Handling job-related paperwork such as work orders, timesheets, and incident reports.
  8. Resolving job-site issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field is a plus.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  3. A valid HVAC Technician certification.
  4. Excellent knowledge of current HVAC systems, practices, and safety regulations.
  5. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Proficient in using job-related software for scheduling, cost estimation, and project management.
  9. Must possess a valid driver's license.
