Responsibilities:
- Project Support: Assist the Project Manager in coordinating and managing HVAC and plumbing construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project schedules.
- Communication: Facilitate effective communication among project team members, subcontractors, and clients.
- Budget Monitoring: Assist in monitoring project budgets, costs, and expenditures to ensure adherence to financial constraints.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
- Quality Control: Support the implementation of quality control measures to ensure project specifications are met.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits to assess project progress, identify issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Client Interaction: Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing concerns, and providing regular project updates.
- Problem Resolution: Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Adherence to Codes: Ensure that all project activities comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in HVAC and plumbing construction project management or a related role.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with HVAC and plumbing systems, construction methods, and materials.
- Software Skills: Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
