Job Title: HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary
We seek a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Orange, CA. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history, be locally based, and possess a strong background in servicing and maintaining large tonnage applied HVAC equipment. This includes package units, split systems, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems. The candidate must also hold an EPA Universal Certification and have a clean driving record.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various commercial HVAC systems, including package units, split systems, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HVAC issues, providing practical solutions to restore system functionality.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, including work performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of issues, necessary repairs, and recommendations for system improvements.
Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
Stay current with industry developments, new technologies, and best practices to improve skills and service quality continuously.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Must be a resident of Orange, CA, or surrounding areas.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician, preferably in the commercial sector.
EPA Universal Certification is required.
Proven experience working with large tonnage applied HVAC equipment, including package units, split systems, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
Stable work history with a track record of reliability and professionalism.
Clean driving record with a valid driver's license.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience working for reputable HVAC companies such as Southland Industries, ACCO, or similar.
Additional certifications or training in HVAC systems and controls are a plus.
