Job Title: HVAC Service Technician - Commercial Systems
Overview: Seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician with expertise in commercial and industrial systems. The ideal candidate will be part of a proactive team focused on high-quality service, innovative solutions, and customer satisfaction in the HVAC industry.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain clean, safe work environments on all assignments.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including safe driving and working practices.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Adapt to and utilize mobile work order systems efficiently.
- Document all performed work accurately and comprehensively.
- Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests.
- Conduct maintenance services and manage after-hours shutdowns as necessary.
- Provide on-call service on a rotational basis.
- Service, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various types of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
Requirements:
- Universal EPA Certification and technical HVAC training.
- 4 – 8 years of experience in commercial and/or industrial HVAC equipment and systems.
- Experience in line sets, brazing techniques, and interpreting diagrams and schematics.
- Proven local and stable work history in the HVAC industry.
- Experience with chiller and boiler service; additional factory training is beneficial.
- Knowledge in servicing hydronic pump systems, including applications, troubleshooting, and start-up.
Preferred:
- Expertise in critical cooling systems, with additional factory training or certifications.
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed for job requirements.
- Further education in the HVAC field is advantageous.
