Position Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced HVAC Estimator / Project Sales professional to join our team in Sacramento, CA. This role is crucial for our continued success in the commercial HVAC sector. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history and extensive experience in HVAC installation or service, particularly in large commercial projects. This role involves a combination of estimating, sales, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed cost estimates for commercial HVAC projects, including material, labor, equipment, and other related costs.
  • Engage in project sales, including identifying potential clients, understanding client needs, and developing tailored proposals.
  • Utilize Bluebeam software for accurate and efficient project estimation and planning.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and installation teams to ensure accurate and feasible project proposals.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide expert advice and solutions to clients based on their specific HVAC needs.
  • Participate in project review meetings to discuss cost estimates, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in commercial HVAC systems.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of experience in commercial HVAC installation or service.
  • At least two years of experience in HVAC project estimation.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam or similar estimation and project planning software.
  • Proven experience in managing and closing sales, particularly in the commercial sector.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and mechanical plans.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of professionalism and commitment to quality customer service.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or degree in a related field is advantageous.
