Job Summary
We seek an experienced DDC Controls Manager to lead the design, installation, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Direct Digital Controls (DDC) for large-scale commercial and industrial projects in Ellensburg, WA. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with a strong technical background in HVAC control systems. The right candidate will oversee cutting-edge BAS/DDC projects, optimizing building performance, energy efficiency, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the entire BAS/DDC installations project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, project schedules, and budget constraints.
Oversee system integration and commissioning for HVAC controls, chillers, boilers, VFDs, and advanced building automation platforms.
Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and field teams to troubleshoot system issues, optimize performance, and drive successful project execution.
Utilize Bluebeam, Autodesk (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), MS Project, and Trimble AutoBid for project documentation, design reviews, and scheduling.
Monitor project financial performance, track budgets, and provide regular updates to stakeholders to maintain profitability and efficiency.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in BAS/DDC project/service management, focusing on commercial HVAC controls.
Expertise in Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, BACnet, Alerton, Distech, Trane, and Schneider Electric control systems.
Proficiency in Bluebeam, Trimble AutoBid, and Autodesk software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks), along with MS Project for project tracking and coordination.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders.
Local and stable work history demonstrating reliability and knowledge of industry standards in the Ellensburg, WA market
