Summary:
We are looking for a Controls Design Engineer to join our team in Spokane, WA. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in building automation controls design and engineering, with knowledge of AutoCAD and Visio. Experience with installation, service, start-up, and programming of building automation projects in commercial buildings such as hospitals, schools, airports, universities, and labs is a plus. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred, as are Tridium, Niagara, and N4 certifications.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement building automation control systems for commercial buildings
Collaborate with a team of engineers and architects to develop and execute project plans
Utilize AutoCAD and Visio to create detailed schematics and drawings
Ensure that all designs comply with local codes and regulations
Provide technical support during installation and commissioning
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in building automation technology
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in building automation controls design and engineering
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Visio
Experience with installation, service, start-up, and programming of building automation projects in commercial buildings
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (preferred)
