Job Title: Controls Assistant Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing control systems projects.
  • Develop and review project documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to meet project requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to control systems.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role with a stable work history.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. An EIT or PE license is a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio.
    • Familiarity with BACnet and DDC controls.
    • Experience with control systems such as Tridium, Dystype, Niagara, ALC, Allerton, Johnson Controls, Metasys, and others.
  • Project Management Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of additional control systems and technologies.
  • Experience working with large-scale control systems projects.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
