We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial/Industrial Pipefitter to join our team in Jacksonville, NC. The ideal candidate will be local, have a stable work history, and possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in pipefitting for commercial and industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
Pipe Installation: Perform layout, assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems in commercial and industrial settings.
Reading Blueprints: Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and precise installations.
Material Handling: Handle and transport materials, tools, and equipment necessary for pipefitting tasks.
Welding: Perform basic welding tasks related to pipefitting as required.
Quality Control: Ensure the quality and compliance of pipefitting work with relevant codes and standards.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other trades and construction professionals to achieve project goals.
Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to pipefitting tasks as they arise.
Project Documentation: Complete required documentation and records related to pipefitting activities.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial/Industrial Pipefitter.
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
Skilled in the layout, assembly, and installation of piping systems.
