We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Refrigeration Installer to join our team in Astoria, OR. This crucial role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems used in a variety of settings, including supermarkets, food service facilities, and cold storage warehouses. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of refrigeration technology and a proven track record of working on complex refrigeration units such as large RTUs, chillers, and VRFs. Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet all operational requirements.
Work on large refrigeration units, including RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems, following industry standards and safety protocols.
Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with project managers and other installation team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Maintain clear and accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including inventory management of parts and supplies.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction with the services rendered.
Requirements:
Must be local to Astoria, OR, or willing to relocate.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial refrigeration installation, specifically with experience working on large RTUs, chillers, boilers, and VRF systems.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret system blueprints, schematics, and detailed repair manuals.
Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, understanding of refrigerant handling, and experience with electrical and mechanical components of refrigeration systems.
Proven track record of reliability and a stable work history in the commercial refrigeration industry.
