Job Title: Commercial Plumbing/Piping Superintendent

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Commercial Plumbing/Pipefitting Superintendent with a proven track record of success in overseeing complex commercial and industrial plumbing and pipefitting projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of hands-on experience in commercial plumbing and pipefitting, including a minimum of 5 years in a Superintendent role.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership: Lead and manage all commercial plumbing and pipefitting projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
2. Team Management: Oversee and coordinate a team of skilled plumbers, pipefitters, and subcontractors, providing clear direction and guidance to ensure project success.
3. Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols and standards, ensuring that all work complies with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
4. Resource Allocation: Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and labor, to optimize efficiency and productivity.
5. Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets or exceeds industry standards and project specifications.
6. Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project budgets and control costs by minimizing waste and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
7. Client Relations: Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Documentation: To support project documentation requirements, keep accurate project records, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
9. Scheduling: Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with other trades to ensure seamless execution.
10. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve project challenges and issues promptly, proactively addressing any obstacles.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 12 years of commercial plumbing and pipefitting experience.
2. At least five years of experience in a Superintendent role, overseeing large commercial and industrial projects.
3. Strong knowledge of plumbing and pipefitting codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
4. Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
7. Valid plumbing and pipefitting licenses/certifications preferred.
8. Local candidates with a stable work history in Jacksonville, FL, are preferred.
