Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an electrician in the commercial construction sector, with a local and stable work history.
- Comprehensive knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Preferred:
- Electrical certification or diploma from a vocational school or equivalent.
- Experience with mechanical electrical systems, including HVAC and refrigeration units.
