Job Title: BAS/Controls Senior Technician
Location: San Diego, CA

Position Overview
We seek an experienced BAS/Controls Senior Technician to join our growing San Diego, CA team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration, operation, and optimization of advanced Building Automation Systems (BAS) across commercial mechanical construction projects. The ideal candidate will leverage industry-leading technologies to enhance energy efficiency, system performance, and occupant comfort in complex HVAC and integrated control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, program, and commission advanced BAS platforms, including Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, BACnet, Trane, and Schneider Electric systems.
  • Diagnosed and troubleshot complex BAS and HVAC control systems to ensure optimal system performance and timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and implement system upgrades to maximize reliability and energy efficiency.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and mechanical teams to interpret control drawings, sequences of operations, and technical specifications.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users on proper BAS operation, maintenance practices, and energy-saving strategies.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in installing, programming, and servicing Building Automation Systems.
  • Proficiency in Tridium Niagara, Distech, Alerton, ALC, Johnson Controls Metasys, and leading BAS platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical equipment controls, and energy management solutions.
  • Experience with technical software tools such as Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit is a plus.
  • Local and stable work history with a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
