Summary

We seek a skilled BAS/Critical Facilities Assistant Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Columbus, OH. This vital role ensures the successful completion of complex projects, focusing on designing and engineering control systems hardware and creating control programming that aligns with project plans, specifications, and contract documents. 

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the complete design of control systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and mechanical system requirements.
  • Program complex Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems and develop end-user graphical interfaces to meet customer needs.
  • Manage the start-up process for building control systems, oversee technician work plans and processes, and manage the commissioning process.
  • Maintain accurate records of project conditions, update drawing sets and software programs, engineer field changes, and ensure as-built documentation is current.
  • Perform various project management tasks, including creating job plans, planning and scheduling labor, conducting fiscal analyses, ordering and coordinating project materials, and managing time to complete assignments on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate and execute the integration of foreign protocols as the project requires.
Qualifications
  • Advanced understanding and skills in creating control programs, knowledge of DDC theory and applications, and excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with building mechanical systems, electronics, and basic electrical circuits is essential.
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and other project-related software.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
  •  A history of stable and local work experience is preferred.
