Position Overview:
The Commercial Plumbing and HVAC Assistant Project Manager will be instrumental in bolstering the Project Manager's efforts, overseeing medium to expansive commercial mechanical ventures and guaranteeing their on-time delivery within scope and budgetary constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Aid in fully managing medium to large-scale HVAC and plumbing projects from the initial estimation phase to completion.
- Employ estimating and scheduling software tools, ensuring projects are forecasted accurately and realized on schedule.
- Foster effective communication channels between internal teams, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Engage actively in project meetings, presenting updates and aligning all entities with the project's objectives.
- Champion adherence to safety standards and other regulatory benchmarks specific to HVAC and plumbing.
- Serve as the primary contact for site-specific issues, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal project disturbance.
- Assist in meticulously maintaining project documentation, capturing every vital detail, alteration, and progress update.
- Keep a keen eye on project financials, ensuring prudent cost management and profitability.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is mandatory.
- At least 2 years of enriched experience in commercial plumbing and HVAC project management.
- Have a stable work history.
- Proficiency in leveraging estimating and scheduling software.
- Adeptness with Bluebeam and other industry-relevant software utilities.
- Stellar communication abilities, both written and verbal.
