Job Overview
We seek an experienced ADP Workforce HR/Payroll Manager to join our Los Angeles, CA team. In this role, you will oversee HR and payroll operations, ensuring seamless payroll processing, compliance with labor laws, and efficient management of HR functions. You will be key in optimizing payroll systems, enforcing policies, and supporting employees and leadership with HR-related matters.
Responsibilities
Manage and process payroll for union and non-union employees using ADP Workforce Now, ensuring accuracy and compliance with wage and hour laws.
Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws, including prevailing wage requirements and collective bargaining agreements.
Oversee HR functions such as employee records management, benefits administration, and HR compliance.
Serve as the point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, employee disputes, and union negotiations regarding payroll and benefits.
Prepare reports, audits, and reconciliations for payroll, tax filings, and benefit contributions.
Implement and improve HR and payroll policies, ensuring best practices and operational efficiency.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in payroll management, HR administration, or labor relations.
Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and strong knowledge of payroll processing systems.
Experience managing union payroll and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
Knowledge of multi-state payroll, tax laws, and labor regulations.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and accuracy in payroll calculations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with employees, management, and union representatives.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in the HVAC, construction, or manufacturing industries.
HR or payroll certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, CPP) is a plus.
Knowledge of certified payroll reporting and union trust fund contributions.
