Job Summary
We seek a highly motivated and experienced Commercial HVAC Technical Engineer to join our Los Angeles, CA team. The successful candidate will deeply understand HVAC engineering, specifically in large commercial and industrial projects. Key Responsibilities
- Designed and evaluated HVAC systems for large commercial and industrial projects, ensuring that all designs meet industry codes and standards.
- Oversee the installation and integration of HVAC systems, coordinating closely with project teams to ensure successful completion.
- Perform detailed analysis of HVAC systems, including load calculations, energy modeling, and system optimization.
- Develop and manage project documentation using industry-standard software, including schematics, specifications, and as-built drawings.
- Provide accurate HVAC system cost estimates and participate in value engineering efforts to optimize project costs and efficiency.
- Offer technical support during the project lifecycle, from design to commissioning and troubleshooting.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Must be based in Los Angeles, CA, with a stable and verifiable work history.
- Minimum of 3 years in commercial HVAC engineering, particularly with large-scale applied equipment and complex projects.
- Proficient in HVAC design and modeling software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and energy simulation tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
- Experience with advanced HVAC technologies and estimating software.
