Job Title: Senior BAS Service Technician
Location: Manassas, VA

Job Summary
We seek an experienced Senior BAS Service Technician to join our team in Manassas, VA. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in building automation controls for commercial buildings' HVAC equipment, focusing on data centers, laboratories, hospitals, and central plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform service, troubleshooting, and repair of building automation systems for HVAC equipment in commercial buildings, including data centers, labs, hospitals, and central plants.
  • Work on BAS controls for large-scale equipment such as chillers, air handlers, boilers, and other applied HVAC systems.
  • Diagnose system issues, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions.
  • Conduct system inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide excellent customer service, address system concerns, and offer solutions for improving system efficiency.
  • Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and local codes.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior technicians as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with building automation systems for HVAC equipment in commercial settings such as data centers, labs, or hospitals.
  • Proficient in working with BAS controls for large commercial HVAC systems, including central plants.
  • Relevant BAS certifications (e.g., Trane, Siemens, or equivalent) are highly preferred.
  • A stable work history and demonstrated ability to manage long-term projects and relationships.
  • Familiarity with industry-leading companies such as Trane, Siemens, Alberio, or similar control manufacturers.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and independent ability to diagnose and solve system issues.
  • Must be local to the Manassas, VA area.
Preferred Experience
  • Working in high-demand environments such as data centers, hospitals, and laboratories.
  • Experience with central plant automation and control systems for sizeable applied HVAC equipment.
  • Familiarity with control platforms from manufacturers like Trane, Siemens, or Alberio.
