Job Summary
We seek a highly experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is ideal for a local professional with a solid and stable work history in commercial HVAC services. The ideal candidate will have over ten years of experience servicing, commissioning, and repairing large HVAC systems such as package units, chillers, and boilers. This individual will also possess leadership qualities, overseeing and managing a team while performing hands-on work in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and work alongside a team of HVAC technicians to ensure efficient field operations.
- Perform startup, commissioning, and repairs on large commercial HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, and rooftop package units.
- Diagnosed and troubleshot HVAC system malfunctions, ensuring timely and effective repairs.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and EPA regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, fostering continuous learning and development.
- Local presence in Jacksonville, FL, with a stable work history in the commercial HVAC field.
- 10+ years of commercial HVAC service experience, with expertise in startup, commissioning, and repair of large-scale equipment.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage, mentor, and work hands-on alongside the service team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and management.
- EPA Universal Certification is required.
- Clean driving record and ability to travel locally for service calls.
