This role requires exceptional client management skills, a deep understanding of the mechanical construction industry, and building and managing relationships with pre-existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
- Conduct detailed job walks, plan and spec bids, and develop comprehensive proposals for commercial mechanical projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers and field technicians, to ensure accurate estimates and seamless project coordination.
- Identify customer needs and provide solutions that meet project specifications, budget constraints, and timelines.
- Lead the sales process from client interaction to project handover, ensuring clear communication and effective execution.
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and hands-on experience in plumbing, pipe fitting, HVAC, or sheet metal are preferred.
- Proven experience in the commercial mechanical construction industry, with a focus on estimating, project management, and client interaction.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical trades and the ability to coordinate labor and resources effectively.
- Demonstrated experience with building proposals, job walks, and managing plan and spec bids.
- Local candidates with a stable work history must ensure continuity in project management and customer relationships.
