Job Overview
We seek a highly skilled Special Projects Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is essential for driving sales and managing client relationships within the commercial mechanical construction sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC, or sheet metal, paired with a strong background in project management and solution-based selling. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with pre-existing and new clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction. Conduct regular meetings, job walks, and follow-ups to assess project needs.
  • Work closely with the internal team to build comprehensive project proposals, including plan and specification bids, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial mechanical construction industry. Use technical expertise to offer tailored HVAC, plumbing, piping, and other mechanical systems solutions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure seamless coordination of labor, materials, and schedules for special projects.
  • Use in-depth knowledge of the Phoenix local market to drive project success while maintaining a stable work history within the industry.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience in plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC, or sheet metal work is essential.
  • Proven experience in project management within the commercial mechanical construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of proposal building, job walks, plan and spec bids, and client-facing interactions.
  • Stable and local work history is a must.
Technical Proficiency
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and Trimble AutoBid is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of building automation systems such as Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, Bacnet, and Schneider Electric is a plus.
