Overview
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead precision-driven projects, specializing in clean room and high-performance HVAC systems in San Jose, CA. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and innovation to deliver projects that meet the most rigorous industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of HVAC and clean room construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry regulations.
Manage the design, installation, and commissioning of advanced HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, piping, and medical gas systems, focusing on cleanroom compliance and building automation integration.
Foster strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure communication clarity and project success.
Enforce adherence to safety protocols, clean room standards, and local mechanical construction regulations.
Mentor and guide multidisciplinary teams, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is highly preferred.
8-10 years of experience in commercial mechanical construction, with a strong focus on HVAC and clean room project management.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, clean room technologies, and building automation systems like Tridium Niagara, Alerton, Johnson Controls Metasys, and others.
Advanced skills in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, MS Project, and Trimble AutoBid.
Proven, stable work history in the San Jose, CA area, with familiarity with regional building codes and market trends.
