Job Title: PLC/SCADA Assistant Project Manager
Location: Columbus, OH

Job Summary
We seek a motivated and technically skilled PLC/SCADA Assistant Project Manager to support delivering advanced automation and control systems projects based in Columbus, OH. This position is crucial in designing, implementing, and managing PLC and SCADA systems, working with cross-functional teams to meet client needs across various industries. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and project management experience to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project teams to review customer specifications and ensure the accurate implementation of PLC and SCADA systems.
  • Develop and program PLC systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Modicon) using Studio 5000, EcoStruxure Control Expert, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Configure and deploy SCADA systems, including AVEVA System Platform, Ignition SCADA, and FactoryTalk View SE, to provide high-performance visualization and control solutions.
  • Support system commissioning, including on-site debugging, testing, and validation, to ensure seamless system performance at client facilities.
  • Assist in developing Human-Machine Interface (HMI) applications, leveraging programming tools like Structured Text, Ladder Diagrams, and Function Block Diagrams to create tailored user interfaces.
  • Ensure timely project delivery by managing installation schedules, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating effectively with stakeholders to resolve any challenges.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent technical experience.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI development, with experience in platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, and Inductive Automation.
  • Strong understanding of programming languages and database tools relevant to automation systems.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities to work effectively with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Local candidates with a stable work history, demonstrating reliability and long-term commitment to previous roles.
