In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful system design, programming, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to analyze customer requirements and translate them into actionable SCADA/PLC system designs.
- Develop and program PLC systems, including Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, and Modicon, using Studio 5000 and EcoStruxure Control Expert.
- Configure, deploy and optimize SCADA platforms like AVEVA System Platform (OMI, HMI), Ignition SCADA, and FactoryTalk View SE to ensure effective visualization and control.
- Conduct on-site commissioning, including debugging, testing, and validation, to ensure systems perform seamlessly in client environments.
- Assist in designing intuitive HMI applications using Structured Text, Ladder Diagrams, and Function Block Diagrams.
- Monitor project schedules, troubleshoot technical challenges, and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven expertise in PLC programming, SCADA systems, and HMI development with platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, and Inductive Automation.
- Knowledge of programming languages and database tools relevant to automation systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude with a proven ability to resolve complex system issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills for effective team collaboration and client interaction.
- Local candidates with a stable work history demonstrating reliability and long-term commitment are preferred.
- PLC Systems: Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix.
- SCADA Platforms: EcoStruxure Power SCADA Operation (EPO), Ignition SCADA, AVEVA System Platform.
- Development Tools: Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, Unity Pro.
- Proficiency in Programming Methods: Structured Text, Ladder Logic, and Function Block Diagrams.
