Key Responsibilities
- Preconstruction Planning and Coordination: Lead all preconstruction efforts, including shop drawings, value engineering, prefabrication, and material logistics, to ensure a successful project launch.
- Project Leadership and Execution: Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including setup, budget management, and scheduling. Monitor project progress, adjust goals as needed, and ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines.
- Stakeholder Communication and Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, field managers, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication from project inception through the warranty period.
- Change Management and Documentation Control: Proactively manage project modifications, assessing the impact on budget and schedule. Coordinate with internal and external teams to document all changes, ensuring full compliance with project requirements.
- Quality and Safety Assurance: Enforce high quality and safety standards, ensuring all team members adhere to established protocols. Conduct QA/QC checks and work closely with field managers to maintain project quality and safety standards.
- Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering is preferred. 10+ years in construction management, with 5+ years as the lead project manager on projects exceeding $10M.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems in commercial construction.
- Project Management Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with project management tools like Viewpoint is a plus. Skilled in budgeting, scheduling, and contract management.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively across teams. Comfortable working independently and leading diverse teams in a high-stakes environment.
- Local and Stable Work History: Preference for candidates with a proven, stable work history in Denver.
