Job Summary
We seek a highly organized and experienced Mechanical Project Coordinator for a role in the Phoenix, AZ, area. This position supports project management and coordination for complex commercial mechanical systems in large-scale construction environments, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and medical gas systems. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history, be local to the Phoenix area, and bring a solid background in commercial mechanical contracting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Assist project managers in planning, organizing, and coordinating all aspects of mechanical construction projects, ensuring timelines, budget adherence, and meeting quality standards.
  • Scheduling and Dispatching: Act as the liaison between field technicians, vendors, and project teams to optimize scheduling, dispatch resources efficiently, and maintain project flow.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate project documentation, track project milestones, and ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Client and Vendor Communication: Coordinate with clients and vendors to ensure project requirements are communicated and expectations are met, as a point of contact for status updates and issue resolution.
  • Support in Technical Systems: Utilize software such as Bluebeam, MS Project, and AutoCAD to support documentation, workflow processes, and project planning.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in project coordination within a commercial mechanical construction or contracting environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and building automation systems in a commercial setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in software tools such as Bluebeam, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
  • Stable and Local Work History: Proven stable work history within the Phoenix area, showcasing reliability and commitment to the industry.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
