Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful execution of commercial construction projects within the Denver area. This role will serve as the central point of contact for project coordination, aligning efforts between engineering teams, contractors, subcontractors, and field managers to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion. As the Project Manager, you will have the authority to make critical project decisions and will communicate updates with upper management to facilitate smooth operations from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all preconstruction activities, including reviewing shop drawings, conducting value engineering, overseeing prefabrication plans, and organizing mobilization and material handling strategies.
- Direct and monitor all project phases, ensuring budget, timelines, and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, assist in contract review and negotiation, and monitor project expenditures, including managing invoices and billing.
- Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment needs with field managers and subcontractors.
- Regularly update schedules to optimize project flow and ensure alignment with overall corporate resources.
- Ensure all project documentation, including permits, safety protocols, equipment specs, and quality standards, is current and accurately filed.
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, architectural engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Extensive experience in commercial HVAC and plumbing project management is required, with at least 10 years in construction management and 5+ years as a lead on projects over $10M.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools and familiarity with HVAC/plumbing construction software. Experience with Viewpoint software is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with diverse stakeholders, and experience managing subcontractors, budgets, and schedules are essential.

- Knowledge of relevant codes, permits, and safety protocols, with a strong commitment to promoting job site safety and adherence to compliance standards.
