Job Summary
We seek a seasoned HVAC Service/Project Sales Representative based in Sacramento, CA, with a strong background in commercial HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history, a deep understanding of commercial HVAC installation and service, and proven success in sales and estimating. This role offers the opportunity to engage with a dynamic market, providing tailored HVAC solutions to clients across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in the commercial HVAC market, focusing on service contracts and project sales.
  • Accurately estimate project costs, prepare detailed proposals, and negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring profitability and alignment with client needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with services provided and identifying opportunities for additional business.
  • Leverage your knowledge of commercial HVAC systems to provide clients with expert advice on installation, service, and system upgrades. This includes a strong understanding of chillers, boilers, and building automation systems.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies to ensure the company remains competitive and offers clients innovative solutions.
Qualifications
  • Must be a local candidate with a proven track record of stable employment in Sacramento.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in commercial HVAC installation or service, plus at least three years of experience in commercial HVAC sales and estimating.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Bluebeam, MS Project, Trimble AutoBid, and Autodesk tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks).
  • In-depth understanding of commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, piping, and building automation systems such as Tridium Niagara, Distech, and Johnson Controls Metasys.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to clients clearly and persuasively.
