Key Responsibilities
- Review blueprints and project documents to prepare precise cost and labor estimates for HVAC systems.
- Identify scope impacts and pricing conflicts, ensuring accurate bids.
- Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Develop conceptual estimates for budgeting purposes.
- Communicate project scope and changes with clients, engineers, and contractors.
- Maintain cost databases and improve estimation accuracy using historical data.
- Provide detailed breakdowns for bids and proposals.
- 5+ years of HVAC estimating experience in commercial/industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation methods.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using estimation software.
