Job Overview
We seek a Senior HVAC Estimator with a solid commercial and industrial project background to join our San Francisco team. This role involves managing the estimation process and ensuring accurate and competitive bids for complex HVAC projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze blueprints and project documents to develop detailed HVAC cost estimates.
- Review project scope, identify potential conflicts, and ensure accurate pricing.
- Obtain and evaluate quotes from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Prepare conceptual and final estimates for budgeting and bidding.
- Collaborate with clients and project teams to communicate changes and meet project goals.
- Maintain cost databases and use historical data to improve estimation accuracy.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HVAC estimation experience, focusing on commercial and industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation methods.
- Proficient in Bluebeam, Trimble AutoBid, and related estimation software.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented approach.
