Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Estimator to join our San Francisco, CA team. The ideal candidate will analyze construction documents, prepare accurate cost estimates, and work closely with clients and project teams to ensure successful project delivery. This role requires expertise in commercial HVAC systems and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed labor, materials, and equipment cost estimates based on blueprints and specifications.
- Review project documents for scope, pricing impacts, and potential conflicts.
- Obtain and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Develop conceptual estimates for budgeting, incorporating market trends and historical data.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and engineers on estimate adjustments.
- 5+ years of HVAC estimation experience in commercial/industrial projects.
- Proficient in blueprint reading, estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, Trimble AutoBid), and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Local, stable work history in the commercial mechanical industry.
- Familiarity with building automation systems (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Bacnet) is a plus.
