Job Summary
We seek an experienced and detail-oriented HVAC Engineer to join our Los Angeles, CA team. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history and a minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC engineering, particularly in large-scale commercial projects. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, evaluate, and manage the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Perform comprehensive HVAC system analysis, including load calculations, energy modeling, and system optimization.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates for HVAC systems and participate in value engineering efforts to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of HVAC designs with other building systems.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation using industry-standard software, including schematics, specifications, and reports.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee installation, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Must be a local candidate with a stable and verifiable employment history.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC engineering, focusing on large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in HVAC design software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and energy modeling software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with HVAC estimating software and knowledge of advanced HVAC technologies.
  • Strong understanding of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design practices is a plus.
