We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager to join our team in Orange County, California. We are a leading provider of HVAC solutions for commercial and industrial facilities. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient, and cost-effective solutions to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or prior hands-on field experience with commercial HVAC piping or sheet metal. They should possess a local and stable work history, with 5-15 years of experience in project management, specifically within the commercial HVAC construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate commercial HVAC projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to develop project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving any potential issues or delays.
- Conduct site visits and attend project meetings to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and quality control.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Manage project resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to ensure cost-effective and efficient project execution.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments, ensuring that our solutions remain cutting-edge and competitive.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent prior hands-on field experience with commercial HVAC piping or sheet metal.
- 5-15 years of experience in project management, specifically within the commercial HVAC construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar.
- Experience with LEED, energy efficiency, and sustainable building practices.
- Familiarity with local and national building codes and regulations.
