Job Title: Building Automation Controls Programmer

Position Overview
We seek an experienced BAS Controls Tridium Programmer who understands the Tridium Niagara 4 (N4) platform. In this role, you will be instrumental in programming, configuring, and commissioning advanced building automation systems for our diverse client base. This position requires a local candidate or someone willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, program, and commission building automation systems utilizing Tridium's Niagara 4 platform.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field technicians to ensure seamless system integration and adherence to client specifications.
  • Conduct site visits for system analysis and troubleshooting, offering real-time expert solutions.
  • Stay current with industry advancements and Tridium's latest offerings to maintain cutting-edge solutions.
  • Participate in client meetings, providing technical expertise, system demonstrations, and training as required.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including logic diagrams, sequences of operation, and as-built drawings.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals and bids for new projects.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in BAS controls programming.
  • N4 Certification is required.
  • Proficiency in designing, programming, and troubleshooting building automation systems with the Tridium Niagara 4 platform.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical systems, and building automation principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team or independently.
  • A stable work history demonstrating long-term commitments and career growth.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and industry-related workshops.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with other building automation systems and protocols.
  • Experience mentoring junior staff or leading projects.
